Welcome

Welcome to the Roy Watch Dogs Blog. The Roy Watch Dogs are a group of citizens in the Roy-McKenna area seeking to fight crime in our rural community. This blog is intended to keep community members informed as to public safety issues and most importantly alert them when crimes have been committed. While we will attempt to post information in "real-time" - communication is always a challenge in rural communities so there may be a delay depending upon when information is received. If you know of a crime that has not been posted here then please notify us by e-mail at RoyWatchDogs at gmail.org.

Representatives from the Roy Watch Dogs meet monthly as part of the Roy-McKenna Area Advisory Commission (RMAAC) on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Roy City Hall, Roy, WA. The RMAAC was created in accordance with a Pierce County Ordinance to address a variety of issues facing the Roy-McKenna area including public safety issues.

Below is a map of the area we cover and the crimes we have seen in the past month compared to 2010.
